What Makes A Good Website?

One of the most common mistakes in peoples websites is that they try to say or show too much on a site.  Unless you are a retail site with a lot of product, this is almost always a bad idea.

A website should remain very simple, and always have some call to action.  You have about 10 seconds to catch your visitors attention, and in that time if you do not, they will click away faster than greased lightning.

Organizational messages were carefully crafted and used precise professional language. Organizations also had full control over the information presented to their constituents. Getting a Web Presence – Six Reasons to Go Cyber

Saying that the Web is complicated is like saying that football is aggressive. Web trends come and go, with success stories and disasters wrestling for attention in the public eye. The Accumulative Effects of SEO

To best understand why SEO is so powerful, I have constructed an article that best explains it in good ole fashion dollars and cents

SEO has an accumulative effect. Many people do not realize how effective it is, because the results accumulate, and get better each month as the services continue. Some people get ranked and quit, and take the trickle of leads and are happy with it.

The best way to capitalize on Search Engine Optimization, is to keep on striking when the iron is hot. In other words, just because a site is ranking does not mean its a good idea to stop improving the position of the ranks, or ranking for more keywords.

Social Media Consulting Rates

You Get What You Pay For

Social media marketing has entered the forefront of business advertising in recent years and shows no signs of letting up. Companies are scrambling to hire social media consultants because they realize its true potential, though many are not familiar with the medium and what goes into creating a successful social media campaign.

When comparing social media consulting rates remember that the good ole’ saying “You get what you pay for” holds true. Some companies look for bargains — for the best price they can possibly get. But, when it comes to marketing, this is a recipe for disaster as gambling with one’s business/branding is no joke.
